Finally I would have given the novel five stars but there are errors in the Kindle edition/5(7).

Soldier is a fantastic book. But it has some items that are unusual for a VN War book. First, the author's story is from am officer's perspective.

He is a Lt. Col. in VN in IG and command assignments. Second, you get to hear his incredible experiences as a child in WV and as an enlisted soldier /5(54). Soldier is book three in the Talon series by Julie Kagawa and if you haven’t started the series yet, you definitely should.

I will warn you, if you have read anything by Kagawa, you know she isn’t one to let her characters go happily off into the sunset when you are mid-series so keep that in mind when you pick this book /5.
